GREEN FINGERS

Your plants need light

a) Never place a plant in direct sunlight (with a few exceptions).

b) Place your plant container close to a day light wherever possible.

c) Turn your plant container round regularly so that your plants receive light on all sides.

d) In winter, bring your plant container nearer to a window, as sun is generally filtered by a cloudy sky.

d) Clean the dust from the leaves of your plants regularly.

Give your plants the warmth they need

a) Keep room temperature between 18 and 20°C.

b) Sudden changes in temperature are bad for the health of your plants.

c) Don't place your plants close to a heat source (radiator, fire or stove).

d) Constant humidity is good for your plants.

e) Plants dislike draughts: do not place your plant container in a draughty room.
