How to assemble a garden shed?

Assembling a PVC garden shed is a simple task that anyone can do, provided they are well prepared. Before you start assembly, it is important to check all the parts using the parts list provided in the assembly instructions. Take the time to take out each item, lay them out flat, and check their condition to ensure that nothing is missing or damaged. Once you have done this, you can confidently proceed with the various stages of assembly.

Don't panic: thanks to the detailed instructions included in your package and available below (4.9 m², 7.5 m², and 11 m² shelters), installing your shelter is easy, step by step.

PreparePrepare the foundations

A. Anchoring the shelter

You must prepare the foundations of your shelter to ensure it is waterproof and reinforce its wind resistance.

Small shelters (up to 4.9 m²) can be fixed to concrete corner blocks or gravel slabs. For shelters larger than 4.9 m², we recommend laying a concrete slab on which to build your shelter.

How to secure a garden shed to a concrete slab?

To assemble a garden shed, you need to have a perfectly flat surface and never install it directly on soil or grass.

Small shelters (up to 4.9 m²) can be built and secured on gravel slabs or concrete corner blocks. For shelters larger than 4.9 m², we always recommend building a concrete slab (foundation) on which to construct your shelter.

The characteristics of concrete slabs

The slab must be 10 cm thick and 3 to 5 cm thick around the perimeter of the shelter. Regardless of the size, we recommend reinforcing the shelter's attachment to its support using the Grosfillex anchoring kit.

Please refer to the accessory sheet for the anchoring kit for more information (available in the shelter product sheets).
